I remembered One Saturday Morning, DiscoverKids, Kids WB, and Fox Kids. Fox Kids would carry me through the week after school, and One Saturday Morning is the main event with Kids WB later on in the afternoon.

Great video this was a lost block of kids television that no one recognized

In the end, Power Rangers went to Haim Saban after Jetix got succeeded by Disney Extra Dimensional. Meanwhile, as this went on, most of the Disney intellectual property were put under a new house for watching, which I watched a lot called Disney Plus.

The movie is honestly really solid when compared to other films. The editing, the acting, the script, the atmosphere/setting and story are actually very interesting. And the original score is absolutely amazing, on par with Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter. I think where the movie went wrong was some of the characters were miscast and the marketing for the film was absolutely atrocious. I don't remember ever seeing a trailer for the film. I only knew the film existed and watched it because my fifth grade teacher read us the book and I saw an advertisement for the film in the book.

My sister and I vaguely remember Saturday morning cartoons getting boring when we were given the same half dozen episodes of Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire week after week. One thing you mentioned about Margret is that she travels a lot but acts like she doesn't know how to carry luggage around. One thing I have to add is this movie is a KIND OF semi fish out of water type movie, and Margret not knowing about luggage I think is because she is used to having an assistant that basically does everything for her

I'm afraid I have to disagree with you, this is one of the worst Hitchcock films. I mean, the worst one is Juno and the Paycock, but this is the 2nd worst one, the fact that no characters even have names, it's no wonder it's hard to follow this movie, and the story just wasn't very good.

I love that they changed the reasoning of why they were underground, even if they never say why; it really gave the movie a more fantasy vibe i which i liked. In the books, it was bc of a few things like world wars, plagues, and global warming

schneiders character does speak russian so figured something around russias sphere of influence at least. And I didnt take his character as racist, maybe personally neglected hence his poor education because he seems almost traumatized. I didnt take it as him being brown, poor, and stupid. As you said, he's not a caricature of any particular group of people.

Image if One Saturday Morning/ABC Kidz survived? We could have had Gravity Falls on regular TV.
